Definitions
CPA: Cost Per Acquisition
This is the price it cost to generate a sale or lead.
CPL: Cost per Lead
The cost associated with generating a lead.
PPC: Pay Per Click
An advertising form used on all major and some smaller search engines (Also referred to as sponsored listings). The advertiser is only charged when a web searcher clicks on the advertisers ad.
Impressions: How many times the ad is shown.
Visitors: How many web searchers actually clicked on the ad.
CPC: Cost Per Click same as PPC but generally refers to the actually bid price of a keyword. CPC can range from $.01 – $50.00.
Long Tail: Any keyword or combination of more than two words. EX: texas car loan information
